We are more than excited to announce that the grant proposal on Rarible DAO passed this week, awarding DIGITALAX with $100K to build out the shared orderbook + liquidity for the Web3 Fashion Economy.
This will significantly expand the reach and active user base of both the DIGITALAX + Rarible Protocol ecosystem marketplaces and involve a major refactoring undertaking from our metaverse engineers.
Interoperable decentralised marketplaces make indie web3 creators more powerful through shared order books, aggregated NFT discovery and composable liquidity. This advanced engineering undertaking is set to meet market demand of the 10,000x scale up of decentralised fabrication, web3 fashion and the open metaverse.
The infrastructure build out will take place on Polygon, and eventually Ethereum.
With that said, since this proposal was only available for vote by the core Rarible DAO grant stewards, DIGITALAX is bringing forward a complementary proposal on our own $MONA governance forum to reinforce the value of active governance participation and coordinated content development around important topics.
The deliverables agreed to collaboratively are not just limited to engineering, but also place emphasis on education and community development. One of these deliverables include that of the launch of the DIGITALAX X Rarible Web3 Fashion Realm under our Patrons architecture.
This will include the build out of extensive documentation within the open source repos for all new engineering developed and also the ignition of a dedicated community and set of stewards that will help to maintain and sustain much needed infrastructure advancements, iteration and innovation for the web3 fashion and modeling economy.
This proposal will go live on the DIGITALAX forum at a later stage of the engineering build out as milestones and dates continue to mature.
There’ll be more updates shared soon, and the first realm marketplaces are set to go live in the next week or so as we receive the next steps from Rarible!
