Chainlink Standard Adopted by Mantle: Advancing Cross-Chain Innovation

  • Mantle integrates Chainlink CCIP to empower developers with robust tools for creating advanced cross-chain solutions.
  • The collaboration highlights the critical role of partnerships in driving multi-chain innovation and expanding adoption.

Following the recent discussion in a CNF update about the recognition of Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as a transformative solution for capital markets by ANZ, HSBC, and SBI Digital Markets, Mantle has now integrated Chainlink’s CCIP to enhance its infrastructure for decentralized applications.

This adoption allows developers within the Mantle ecosystem to create advanced cross-chain solutions, aligning with the platform’s vision of driving innovation and expanding the multi-chain ecosystem.

Mark Veer, Mantle’s Head of Business Development, emphasized that adopting CCIP reaffirms their commitment to delivering robust tools for ecosystem developers while strengthening interoperability across blockchains. He stated:

In order to further enhance cross-chain interoperability for our ecosystem, we needed access to a highly secure and reliable interoperability solution.

Chainlink CCIP Stands Out

After evaluating several solutions, Mantle selected Chainlink CCIP for its unmatched reliability, security, and flexibility. CCIP is supported by Chainlink’s decentralized oracle networks, which have secured billions in on-chain transactions.

Key features include programmable token transfers and arbitrary messaging that Allows developers to send custom data to trigger actions on other blockchains. As shared in a recent tweet,

Additionally, CCIP is designed to be future-proof, offering continuous updates and new blockchain integrations without significant switching costs. These features make it a comprehensive solution for cross-chain innovation.

Advancing Blockchain Industry Collaboration

The collaboration between Mantle and Chainlink underscores the significance of partnerships in accelerating blockchain adoption. Johann Eid, Chief Business Officer at Chainlink Labs, praised Mantle’s commitment to advancing the multi-chain ecosystem.

By integrating CCIP, Mantle gains access to Chainlink’s extensive ecosystem, unlocking new growth opportunities and positioning itself as a leader in cross-chain innovation. This strategic move strengthens both platforms’ ability to drive blockchain advancements and address the growing demand for interoperable solutions.

At the time of writing, Chainlink (LINK) is trading at $23.90, with a 1.62% daily decrease and a 37.44% weekly increase, reflecting positive growth signals.
