Bitfinex has released Version 7.2.0 of its mobile app, introducing a series of updates and optimizations aimed at enhancing user experience. This latest update includes the notable addition of the Fast Pay mobile app widget, according to blog.bitfinex.com.

New Features

The highlight of this update is the introduction of the Fast Pay widget, designed to streamline and expedite payment processes within the app. This addition is expected to enhance the app’s functionality and offer users a more seamless interaction.

Improvements

The update also brings several improvements, such as widget reset functionality and the removal of onboarding screens to simplify user navigation. Additionally, new token icons for HMSTR, MANEKI, and EIGEN have been added, along with a POLM icon to complement the existing MATIC icon. Users can now synchronize their chart settings from the web version to the mobile app, ensuring consistency across platforms. Updates to the AAVE icon and the inclusion of a new Lugano map further enhance the app’s visual and functional appeal.

Bug Fixes

Bitfinex has addressed numerous bugs in this release, resolving issues that affected user experience. Fixes include resolving the hanging balance step during the app tour, correcting the email login tab, and addressing issues with wallet orders and currency search functionalities. The update also rectifies errors related to Fast Pay currency labels, borrow currency type errors, and balance display inaccuracies. Additional fixes cover interface discrepancies such as incorrect background colors and payment button labels, along with addressing a cropped PnL image issue on Android devices.
