The Sei Creator Fund has concluded two rounds, supporting 270 projects in the developer and gaming sectors with a $500,000 SEI pool, enhancing ecosystem development and Sybil detection.





The Sei Creator Fund has recently wrapped up two significant rounds of funding aimed at bolstering Sei’s Developer Ecosystem and Web3 Gaming sectors. According to Sei, these rounds utilized a combined matching pool of 1,162,790 SEI, equivalent to approximately $500,000, to support over 270 innovative projects and individuals.

The Sei Creator Fund, a $10 million initiative, orchestrated two concurrent rounds targeting distinct areas within the ecosystem. Round 3 focused on enhancing the developer base through educational resources and tools, while Round 4 sought to energize Web3 gaming ventures.

Through a partnership with Gitcoin, Sei implemented advanced Sybil detection leveraging its unique cross-chain architecture. This collaboration introduced an enhanced DBSCAN clustering method, utilizing multiple data points across both Sei’s EVM and Cosmos chains to improve fund distribution integrity.
