Snoop Dogg Collabs with Gala Games to Launch Music NFTs

Hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, who is already a prominent A-list figure within the NFT space, is venturing even further into web3 ongoings through his new partnership with Gala Games Music. The recently inked deal sees the Long Beach rapper’s new album, ‘B.O.D.R’ (‘Bacc on Death Row’) manifest itself as a ‘Stash Box’ of NFTs on the Gala Music Shop.

There is a total of 25,000 Stash Boxes available for purchase, each of which costs $5,000. Each Stash Box will include one of 17 track NFTs from the upcoming album, meaning there are 1,470 NFTs available for each song. The Stash Box sale will finish at midnight PST on Sunday, February 13th, the same day the album will be officially released, as well as the same day Snoop will appear alongside the likes of Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar at the Super Bowl half-time show.

Snoop mega-fans who collect the full album of 17 NFT tracks will be rewarded with a slew of in-person and digital goodies, including an exclusive party at Snoop’s LA mansion, access to an exclusive NFT-gated concert, and an array of limited-edition memorabilia.

Snoop music NFTs will also be used in Gala Games’ games (with more information to be released soon), whilst the rapper also has three additional tracks which will be released exclusively on the Gala Music platform.

In a recent statement, the music iconic, who has already contributed to the web3 landscape by dropping, buying, and even entering into metaversal antics, relayed his support for the technology and its positive effect on the music industry: “If anything is constant, it’s that the music industry will always be changing. Blockchain tech has the power to change everything again and tip the table in favor of the artists and the fans, and we’re going to be right at the front of the pack with this Gala Music deal”.
